Boiled rice ingredients
250g rice
Salt
Fill a large saucepan with water and add a pinch of salt.
Bring the water to the boil.
Tip in the rice and return the water to a simmer. Stir the rice once.
Put on the saucepan lid and simmer the rice gently for 10 minutes or according to the instructions on the packet.
Drain off the water and fluff up the rice with a fork.
