Farmed Animal Welfare

The RSPCA's welfare standards for farm animals have been written to cover every aspect of the animals' lives from birth or hatching through to slaughter, including living conditions, veterinary care, environmental enrichment and transportation.

For a product to carry the RSPCA Assured logo, the animal that produced it must have come from farms, hauliers and abattoirs that have all been assessed to the relevant RSPCA farm animal welfare standards.
