Tomato pasta sauce

Ingredients
1 onion diced
Olive oil
500g tomato passata
300g vegetable stock
Dried basil
Method
Preheat the oven to 180c
Use a large frying pan with a metal handle or a casserole dish
Dice one onion and gently fry in olive oil until it softens.
Add the tomato passata and dried basil and stir well
Add the vegetable stock and bring to the boil
Transfer to the oven and cook until the sauce thickens (about 1 hour)
Remove from the oven and serve with fresh pasta
