- Turn oven on to 200⁰C/fan oven 180 C/Gas Mark 6
- Grease and line a 20cm square tin with greaseproof paper.
- Melt butter and golden syrup in a medium-size saucepan.
- When melted, add all the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
- Spoon the contents into a lined baking tin and level out with the back of a spoon until even all over.
- Bake in the oven for around 15 minutes until golden brown.
- When cool, cut into squares or bars and wrap individual pieces in greaseproof paper for later.
